A little about Dr. Andrew
Dr. Andrew was born and raised in Southern California. As long as he can remember he has had a passion for science and medicine. In high school, he was 1 of 3 students in the anatomy and physiology class who was allowed to dissect, tag and study a human cadaver. He also studied electro physiology at that time.
Dr. Andrew was accepted to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he studied pre-medicine. He especially enjoyed studying exercise physiology. He also taught an anatomy lab course and was asked to proof read and review x-rays, diagrams and graphs in a college anatomy and physiology text book which was published and sent to schools all over the country. He graduated with a B.S. degree in pre-medicine in the Exercise Science Department.
Dr. Andrew attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medical School, one of the founding schools of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He met his sweetheart, Kaylene, during his last year of medical school. They found they had a lot in common both pursuing degrees in the medical field as well as family goals and activities. They fell in love, married and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to complete an internship and begin their lives together.
Dr. Andrew completed his family practice residency with an emphasis on Gynecology and Infertility at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He especially enjoyed his training in pelvic laparoscopy treating endometriosis and his rotations in infertility. His infertility training took on a greater personal meaning and importance as Dr. Andrew and his wife were experiencing problems conceiving their first two children. They know firsthand, from their own experience, the frustrations, invasive tests, procedures, and emotional roller coaster that come with infertility. Dr. Andrew and Kaylene have a beautiful family with four children. They enjoy spending time together traveling, hiking, canyoneering, rock-climbing, camping and scouting.
In 1996 Dr Andrew and his family moved to Utah and began practice with a group in Payson. His office currently resides in Provo, Utah along the beautiful East Bay Golf Course. He has been in practice for over 27 years.
