ICSI - Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection
ICSI is an in vitro fertilization procedure that is used to help overcome male infertility and can be used to help when a woman's eggs cannot be easily penetrated by sperm. A single moving sperm is visualized under the microscope.
Our embryologist then picks it up with a glass needle and injects it directly into the egg. This procedure greatly increases your chances of a healthy pregnancy.
While other fertility centers charge additional fees for ICSI, at East Bay Fertility Center we include ICSI with all of our affordable IVF options, with the exception of Natural Cycle IVF.
